This Frimware is only for the Canadian Fido/Rogers ZTE Avid Plus. Installing it on the US variants might lead to a bricked device and might create other unexpected problems. Install at your own risk. How to install:
Press and hold the volume up key and power key until the phone enters Android system recovery. In this mode, the volume key can be used to select a menu, the power key can be used to confirm it.
Press the volume down key until apply update from sdcard is selected in blue, and press the power key to confirm it. The root directory of the SD card is showed.
Press the volume down key until the update.zip file is selected in blue, and press the power key to confirm it. The phone will start the upgrade process.
The phone completes the upgrade process in about 5 minutes. The screen will be displayed: Install from sdcard complete, select reboot system now and press the power key to confirm it. It will restart. Be patient, the first boot will take 1 to 5 minutes.
